Respect is a critical value in demonstrating ethical behavior. An ethical business demonstrates respect to all parties involved in the business endeavor:

Treats customers courteously by showing empathy, listening and demonstrating high regard all with a "golden-rule" attitude in mind

Vendors

Selects ethical vendors

Fosters a trust relationship

Consistently pays bills within expected pay cycle

Treats vendors in a trusting respectful manner

Employees

Company Management:

  • Demonstrates trust with information that affects the staff
  • Fosters respect among all employees between themselves and encourages positive relationships at all levels
  • Pays fair compensation with clear understanding by employees of job description and remuneration scale
